An overview of the Home screen

Everything you need to know about the Home screen in NotesCentre and what each area does.

Written by Billy Dilks

The Home screen is the first thing you see after signing in. It is designed as a starting point, bringing together the things you do most often and a snapshot of where your work stands.

Create a note

At the top of the Home screen you will find the New Note buttons. From here you can begin an audio note, start a text note, or upload a file. Selecting an option takes you straight into the relevant capture experience.

📌 Note: For more information on creating notes, see the Creating notes articles.

Your activity

The Home screen shows a set of key figures summarising your recent work, for example how many notes are Draft, in Processing, or Complete. These give you a quick sense of your workload at a glance without having to open the full notes list.

Recent activity

The Recent Activity area lists the notes you have most recently created or updated, across all statuses. Selecting a note here opens it directly, so you can pick up where you left off without searching.

ANC Agent

The ANC Agent is an assistant experience that will let you interact with NotesCentre conversationally. This capability is in development and may not yet be available for your organisation.

Quick actions

If you hold an administrator role, the Home screen also shows a Quick Actions area with shortcuts to the settings and reporting areas you use most, for example Create Conversation Guide, Manage Templates, View Reports, and Manage Users.

📌 Note: The Quick Actions area is only visible to users with an administrator role.
