Once a note reaches Complete status, the AI-generated summary is available to review in the detail panel. The summary is structured according to the template you chose — treat it as a strong first draft rather than a finished record.
⚠️ Important: Always review the summary before you rely on it. Check it for accuracy, add anything that is missing, correct any transcription errors, and adjust the wording to match your professional voice. You remain responsible for the content of the record.
Edit the summary
Select the completed note from your notes list.
Review the AI-generated summary in the detail panel.
Make your changes directly in the rich text editor. The formatting toolbar offers bold, italic, headings, bullet and numbered lists, block quote, and undo and redo, along with a Markdown toggle and a live word count.
Click Save to keep your changes.
📌 Note: If you try to move away from a note with unsaved edits, NotesCentre will ask whether you want to discard them first.
Compare with the original
You can switch between the AI summary and the original content at any time using the tabs at the top of the detail panel.
Select the completed note from your notes list.
Click the Content tab at the top of the detail panel to view the full transcript of a voice recording, or your original typed or uploaded content.
Click the Summary tab to return to the AI-generated summary.
Version history
NotesCentre keeps a history of versions as a note is edited, so you can see how it has changed over time and refer back to an earlier version if needed. Manual edits are recorded alongside the AI-generated versions.
Select the completed note from your notes list.
Open the version history panel to see a record of all changes made to the note.
Select an earlier version to review it.
