Voice recording is the quickest way to capture what happened after a visit or call. You record what happened, NotesCentre transcribes the audio, and the AI drafts a structured summary against the template you choose.
⚠️ Important: Your browser will need permission to use your microphone. The first time you start a recording, your browser will ask you to allow microphone access. If you deny this, you will not be able to record audio.
Click New Note on the Home screen or the My Notes screen.
Select the audio note option.
Choose your input source when prompted.
Click the record button to begin. A running timer and live waveform will appear to confirm your voice is being picked up.
Speak naturally — you do not need to dictate punctuation or speak in a stilted way.
When you have finished, click Finish and upload to stop recording and send the audio for transcription and summarisation.
Recording controls
While recording, you have the following controls available:
Control | What it does |
Pause and resume | Pauses the recording and resumes from where you left off. Useful if you are interrupted. |
Delete | Discards the current recording entirely. |
Reset | Starts the recording again from the beginning. |
Finish and upload | Stops recording and sends the audio for transcription and summarisation. |
📌 Note: If you try to navigate away while a recording is still running, NotesCentre will ask you to confirm first so you do not lose what you have captured.
