The Settings area gives administrators control over how NotesCentre is configured for their organisation. This includes managing templates, setting data retention periods, enabling Welsh language support, and selecting the primary region for data processing.
đ Note: Settings are only available to users with an administrator role. If you need to make a change and cannot access Settings, contact your system administrator.
Access Settings
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Manage templates
Templates control how the AI structures a note summary. Administrators can create, edit, and delete templates from the Settings area.
In Settings, select Templates.
Click + Add new template to create a template, or select an existing template to edit it.
Configure the template fields and structure as needed.
Click Save to keep your changes.
đ Note: Changes to a template do not affect notes that have already been processed using that template.
Set the data retention period
NotesCentre retains notes for 30 days by default. Administrators can adjust this period to meet their organisation's data retention policy.
In Settings, select Data Retention.
Enter the number of days notes should be retained before automatic deletion.
Click Save to apply the change.
â ď¸ Warning: Notes that exceed the retention period are deleted automatically and cannot be recovered. Make sure the retention period is set in line with your organisation's data retention policy before making changes.
Enable Welsh language support
NotesCentre supports transcription and processing in Welsh. Welsh language support is disabled by default and must be enabled by an administrator.
In Settings, select Language.
Turn on Welsh (Cymraeg).
Click Save to apply the change.
đ Note: Once enabled, Welsh appears as a transcription language option for all users in your organisation.
Set the primary region
The primary region determines where NotesCentre processes and stores data. This should be set in line with your organisation's data residency requirements.
In Settings, select Region.
Select the appropriate region from the dropdown.
Click Save to apply the change.
â ď¸ Important: Contact your system administrator or Access Group representative before changing the primary region. Changing this setting may affect where your data is stored and processed.
