Use the headings below as a guide for understanding each section.
Accessing the Search Feature
Log in to the Provider Intelligence platform.
Navigate to the Providers section from the main menu.
Using the Search Bar
Type the name, part of the name, location (city, postcode, or region), or CQC ID into the search bar at the top.
Filtering Your Results
Apply additional filters to narrow your search:
Service type (e.g., Residential Care Home, Domiciliary Care, Nursing Home)
CQC rating (Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, Inadequate)
Regulated/Non-regulated providers.
Location filters (e.g., only show providers in a certain city or region)
Use the filter panel for combinations (e.g., all Outstanding-rated care homes in Manchester).
Interpreting Results
Each provider result displays key details at a glance:
Provider name.
CQC rating and inspection date.
Service types.
Document icon or count (shows if knowledge/documents are attached)
Click on a provider’s name to see full details and actions (add note, view documents, manage contacts, etc.)
