Interactive data visualisation in Provider Intelligence enables users to quickly understand, explore, and present provider data visually making it easier to spot patterns, trends, and insights.

This feature supports various chart types and tables, allowing you to analyse ratings, performance, geography, service types and documents.

Key Features

  • Multiple Visualisation Types: Bar charts, pie/donut charts, line graphs, and tables.

  • Automatic Data Analysis: Just ask a question (“Show me a chart of providers by CQC rating,” etc.), and visualisations are auto-generated.

  • Export and Reporting: Download visualisations and underlying data to PDF, Excel, Word, CSV, or TXT format.

  • Colour-Coding for Clarity: Colour schemes highlight key performance (e.g., green for Outstanding).

How to Use Interactive Data Visualisation

Ask a Data Question

You can request visualisations naturally in the chat. Examples:

  • “Show me a bar chart of care homes by rating”

  • “Visualise providers by location”

  • “Pivot table of providers by service type”

Interpreting the Visualisation

  • Charts: Instantly see distribution and trends (e.g., number of providers with each CQC rating).

  • Tables: Compare detailed data side by side.

  • Colour-coded values: Easily spot Outstanding (green), Good (blue), Requires Improvement (amber), Inadequate (red).

Download and Share

Click the “Download” button or request an export in the chat (e.g., “Export this as PDF”).

  • Document includes visualisations, data, summary, and analysis.

  • Supported formats: PDF, Excel, Word, CSV, TXT.

Use Cases

  • Performance benchmarking: Compare ratings across providers or over time.

  • Inspection planning: Identify providers by risk level or improvement trend.

  • Board and team reporting: Quickly share clear, visual updates.

🤓Tip: The more specific your request the more targeted your chart. (“Care Homes in London by CQC rating”).
