You can use the Question Template Builder to assemble the set of questions you'll put in front of a provider during an assessment. The builder uses a drag-and-drop canvas, and pulls content directly from your Knowledge Bank. You'll need a published template before you can create an assessment.
📌 Note: If you used the Continue and build with AI option when importing your Knowledge Bank content, your template will already be populated and waiting in the builder. You can skip to the [Rename, score and save your template] section below.
Open the Question Template Builder
To open the builder:
Click Quality Assurance in the left-hand navigation, then click Question Templates.
Click Create Question Template to open a blank canvas.
Add content to your template
The builder mirrors the assessment hierarchy — domains contain standards, and standards contain questions. To add content to your canvas:
Use the Knowledge Bank panel on the right to browse your content.
Set the Service Type filter in the Knowledge Bank panel to match the service type of your template.
Drag any domain, standard, or question from the Knowledge Bank panel onto the canvas.
Alternatively, click the Add button on each tab to add items manually.
Reorder, collapse, edit, or remove anything already on the canvas as needed.
⚠️ Important: Keep the Knowledge Bank panel filtered to the same service type as your template. Every assessment is carried out at service-type level, so mixing service types can cause issues.
🤓 Tip: Dragging a domain onto the canvas automatically brings in its standards and questions, saving you time if you want to include a full domain.
Rename, score and save your template
Once you're happy with the content on your canvas:
Give your template a clear name — the builder won't let you save it with the default name.
Check the rating scores — these match the scoring used in legacy PAMMS (Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution), so there's nothing new to learn.
Click Save.
