Publish a question template

Learn how to publish a question template, making it available for use across your organisation.

Written by Billy Dilks

You can publish a saved question template to make it available for use in assessments. Templates start as drafts so you can refine them with colleagues before making them live — only publish when you're happy with the content.

⚠️ Important: Only published templates can be attached to an assessment. Keep a template as a draft while you're still working on it.

Find your template

To find your saved templates:

  1. Click Quality Assurance in the left-hand navigation, then click Question Templates.

  2. Find the template you want to publish in the list.

📌 Note: Templates with a Draft status are not yet available for use in assessments.

Publish the template

To publish your template:

  1. Open the menu on the template you want to publish.

  2. Click Publish.

Your template is now published and available to attach to an assessment.

🤓 Tip: You can queue up several templates and refine them with colleagues before publishing. Only publish when everyone is happy with the content.
