Every note in NotesCentre moves through a series of statuses as it is created and processed. The status badges in the notes list help you see at a glance what needs your attention.
Note statuses
Status | What it means |
Draft | A note you have captured but not yet sent for processing. At this stage you can still edit the note name and, for text notes, the content, and choose which template to apply. |
Processing | The note is being transcribed and summarised by the AI. This usually takes under a couple of minutes. |
Complete | Processing is complete. The note is ready for you to review, edit, and use.

Failed to process
If something goes wrong during processing, the note is flagged directly in the notes list rather than showing as a separate status. Open the note and try submitting it again.
⚠️ Important: If a note keeps failing to process, contact your system administrator.
Automatic updates
Notes update on their own — you do not need to refresh the page. When the AI finishes processing, a note moves to Complete automatically and will appear in your list straight away.
