You can work through an on-site assessment in assessment mode — a clean, focused view designed for use when you're sitting with the provider. Assessment mode lets you capture evidence, attach files, and rate each question, with overall progress updating automatically as you go.
Open the assessment
Click Quality Assurance in the left-hand navigation, then click Manage Assessments.
Click On-Site Assessments, then open the assessment you want to conduct.
Click Start Assessment to enter assessment mode.
Work through the questions
Use Next and Previous to move between questions, or jump straight to any question using the navigation pane on the right.
For each question you'll see:
The question itself, with its Good Practice Framework guidance.
Assessor Notes carried across from your Knowledge Bank.
An Evidence area where you record what you find.
The Rating options.
Capture evidence
Type your evidence in the Evidence area.
Click Add Evidence — each entry is time-stamped and attributed to you.
To attach a supporting file, click Upload File.
🤓 Tip: Assessments are fully collaborative — several assessors can contribute to the same assessment at once.
Rate the question
Select a rating for the question.
📌 Note: Overall progress and rating roll up automatically using the familiar Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution (PAMMS) logic. For example, rating one of two questions moves overall progress to 50% and the status to In Progress.
Adjust your view
If you need more space to work, you can adjust how assessment mode displays on your screen:
Click Full screen for a larger working area.
Use your browser's zoom (Ctrl + mouse wheel) to fit more on screen when there's a lot of help text.
Save your progress
You don't have to finish an assessment in one sitting. To save your progress and return later:
Click Save Progress.
🤓 Tip: Use Save Progress if you're returning for a second day — nothing will be lost.
Submit the assessment
When you have rated all questions and are ready to submit:
Click Submit Assessment.
📌 Note: You can take the completed assessment back to your team to review before submitting. Once you submit, the status changes to With Provider and it moves into the provider's Access Provider Gateway.
